Well, life at the candy store has shifted into full Valentine's day mode. It's kind of crazy all of the work that goes into planning for one day, when you work in the candy business.
These goofy things have been my new project. XOXOXO's. We actually had a special order for them at Christmas time, for a company who's name is XO. I thought they were so cute, I suggested that we make them and sell for Valentine's day. When I made the suggestion, I had no idea what a pain they are to make. They aren't large and the mold we have to make them is actually part of a Tic-Tac-Toe board. So needless to say, when I took on the challenge to make them I had no idea what I was getting myself into. The other day, I worked for the entire 4 hours that I was there, adding to the 4 hours I had worked on them a few days before. I only got 10 boxes out of 8 hours work. CRAZY!! But they are cute. 
What can I say other than YUM! I still have no self control when it comes to strawberries. I could eat them all day long. There is just nothing better (except maybe the grapes).
So, needless to say...with my current profession, I am really struggling to loose this excess weight that I am carrying around. I try so hard every day not to eat anything. But then the next thing I know I'm popping something small into my mouth. Then something else...etc. O'well, it's all cute. Very PINK.

Having tasted the quality of that chocolate, I'm drooling. Literally. My little salivary glands have kicked in and now I want GOOD chocolate. Sigh. Good thing I don't have access to it on a daily basis, I'd be toast!

What are you trying to do to us people that are trying to be soooo good. That looks really good. I might just show my husband your blog so he can get some ideas.
